Cellgi returned to DEM to propose a further range of phones to push the phone up-market, especially in China.
Focusing on the belt detail, we worked on a range of concepts that kept some of the rounded details, but made it much easier for the client to customise materials and finishes – they were very keen to develop carbon fibre and leather products.
For that reason, all the external surfaces on the phone are 2D bends, and different materials can easily be subsituted.
Subsequent to this, watches and other accessories were also proposed, to tie in to the Mashi Maro brand.
