Caparo Steel in Scunthorpe set us the challenge of redesigning their furnace’s billet unloading system, shifting 70 tons of red hot steel.
We proposed a solution elegant enough to eliminate maintenance, reduce the footprint of the equipment and all this implemented for £300 – an awesome experience, and a fantastic change of scene from a relatively more sterile design studio environment!
